Nethercraft! A mod created by Scokeev9! This mod is great and adds many new features to the game-specifically to the Nether. To sum it all up,this mod makes it possible to live in the Nether,just like you would from the Overworld. However it'd still be a challenge than the Overworld,so don't expect it to be as easy!

Minecraft Forums:

This mod will make the Nether 100% survivable, so that you never have to travel back to the Surface to collect items or blocks. All parts of the Glowood Tree are explosion resistant (to a degree), making ghast fireballs hardly a nuisance! Tools, weapons, blocks, trees, sand, glass, minecarts, boats, stairs, almost everything in the Surface world now has its own equivalent in the Nether! The Nether takes a few MineCraft days at least to acquire lava and make obsidian, so making a portal and travelling to the Nether shouldn't be a break, but should be a greater challenge than the surface, so it's not as boring. The Nether is very similar to a world like the Surface, but always night, and very dark, and hellish, obviously. The Nether is survivable, but that doesn't mean it's easy!

So don't complain about how difficult it is, and how you've died too many times! This means you just need to try harder and get better at minecraft. This mod doesn't--to any degree--make the Nether so hard that it's impossible to play. Remember: Have fun!

As the new Admin here, I'd like to set down some rules for this place:

1. Be kind to other users; no flaming, trolling or wars. If you don't agree with something, state it as kindly as possible.
2. I'd like this to be a relatively child friendly site, don't post anything offensive or "vulgar", if you know what I mean. The occasional use of swears like "damn" or "carp" is fine, however.
3. I, or anyone else for that matter, may not claim rights to NetherCraft (which is created by Scokeev9) or Minecraft itself (which is created by Notch).
4. Respect higher-ranked users than you, such as the original creatore of this site: Death_possum.
5. Please don't "loiter" around the site. This place is used for documenting NetherCraft.
6. You may NOT use this site to advertise your product.
7. This site is open to creatures of all faiths, species, race and views.
